Mercure Bangkok Makkasan Hotel

The breakfast buffet was delicious and had a large variety of options to choose from. The hotel had a beautiful pool and the surrounding area was well-maintained, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The location of the hotel was convenient, with easy access to public transportation and key attractions in the city.

The hotel's description of being near the airport link station was misleading as it required a long walk along a busy road. The housekeeping staff would often take towels without replacing them, causing inconvenience.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The bed was comfortable, and the room was new, clean, and well-maintained. The towels provided were fluffy, a nice touch. We were impressed with the fast internet speed, and the complimentary mini bar, although not fully stocked, had some sodas available. The staff, especially Thomas, were beyond nice and helpful. The hotel offers a great shuttle service, especially helpful considering the location. The hotel is close to the rail link station, making it convenient for transportation to Suvarnabhumi Airport. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were all friendly.

We loved the central location and how fairly clean the place was kept. Service was amazing too. It was amazing experience, the hotel had great pool, free parking and particularly good views. We stopped by Bb Dessert Center for coffee and treats, it was not too far from the venue.

The staff was decent, the hotel was fairly clean and placed in a busy part of the city next to Asoke and an elevated rail line and the rail link. We had the superior king room which was reasonably large and fashionable with two separate twin beds which was really comfortable.

The hotel is conveniently located very near to the Metro Station, making it easy to walk to attractions and explore the city. It is also in close proximity to the Airport Link Rail's main station, providing easy access to and from the airport. The rooms are clean and the staff provides friendly service. Guests can enjoy a nice breakfast spread with plenty of options. The hotel boasts a rooftop pool with great views of the city.

We really enjoyed our stay here as the hotel is located a bit outside the busy center but still within a walkable distance of 700m, which we found very convenient. The staff was amazing and gave their best to accommodate every request we had, providing great service. The hotel amenities such as the leisure spa & wellness center, swimming pool, sun terrace, and garden area were fantastic and helped us to relax and recharge. Additionally, the room amenities such as the ironing facilities and in-room safe were very useful.

We would recommend this place to everyone as we didn't find anything negative to say about it.

Despite some minor inconveniences, such as the lack of a master light switch and the difficulty in accessing the hotel on foot, my overall experience was fantastic. I especially enjoyed the hotel's pool and the fine view it offered of the city. The breakfast was delicious, offering a wide variety of food options, including a great selection for vegetarians like myself. I also had the opportunity to try the affordable and amazing Thai massage at the hotel's spa. I highly recommend Mercure Bangkok Makkasan for a pleasant and enjoyable stay in Bangkok.

Good location, near train station for easy airport access. Nice rooms and pool. Delicious food. Great for families. Frequent free shuttle and taxis available.
